Country Breakfast Pie
Country Breakfast Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. each: hot and mild sausage, 2 deep dish pie shells or 3 (9-inch) regular pie shells, 2 c. grated cheese (i use 1 c. each of cheddar and swiss), 1/4 to 1/2 c. each: chopped green, red and yellow peppers and 1 medium size onion, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook sausage until done.
Crumble and drain.
Mix cheese and sausage and sprinkle into pie shells evenly.
Lightly beat eggs in bowl and add remaining ingredients.
Pour over sausage and cheese, being careful not to overflow.
