Cornstarch Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. granulated sugar and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix water and cornstarch together and cook until thick; set aside to cool.
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together; add to cooled cornstarch mixture.
