Cornmeal Waffles
Cornmeal Waffles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. egg substitute, 1 1/2 c. skim milk, 1/4 c. vegetable oil, 2 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix and 2 tsp. onion powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In medium bowl lightly beat egg substitute.
Stir in milk and oil.
Add corn muffin mix, onion powder, thyme and black pepper. Blend until batter is slightly lumpy.
Preheat waffle iron.
Pour about 1 cup batter onto hot iron; cook waffles until crisp and golden.
If desired, place in 300Β° oven to keep warm.
