Cornmeal Sausage Bake
Cornmeal Sausage Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage, 1 large onion, 2 eggs, beaten lightly, 1/2 c. cornmeal and 1 can cream-style corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 425Β°.
Grease 10 1/2-inch skillet or 2-quart baking dish.
Set aside.
Brown sausage and onion.
Drain well. Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn and milk and oil.
Pour half meat mixture into dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Pour remainder of batter over top.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
