Cornflake Casserole Or Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 c. cornflakes, 1 lb. bulk sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 c. chopped celery and 1 c. brazil nuts or walnuts or pecans, cut into small pieces but not chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Measure cornflakes into large bowl.
Brown sausage in heavy skillet, breaking it up as it cooks.
When browned, add onion and celery until "crisp" cooked.
Into bowl of cornflakes, add poultry seasoning and toss to combine.
Add entire contents of skillet to flakes.
Toss lightly to combine and add the nuts.
Pour into casserole or stuff turkey.
Bake 30 minutes in casserole or longer in turkey.
