Cornbread Dressing
Cornbread Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 pkg. yellow cornbread mix, mixed and cooked, 8 slices toasted white bread, 1 large onion, 1/2 c. finely chopped celery and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Make cornbread according to package directions.
Let cool (overnight if possible).
Crumble cornbread and toast into large mixing bowl.
Add onion, celery and poultry seasoning.
Mix well. Add hot broth until mixture is a very mushy consistency.
Stir in eggs, salt and pepper.
Transfer to a large roasting pan and cook at 350Β° until firm and browned on top.
Serves a large group.
