Corn Dogs
Corn Dogs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot dogs, vegetable oil, 1 c. all purpose flour, 2 tbsp. cornmeal and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pat hot dogs dry with paper towel.
Heat oil (2 - 3 inches) to 365Β°.
Mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Dip hot dogs in batter, allow excess batter to drip off.
Fry 6 minutes turning once.
Insert wood skewers in end of each.
