Corinne'S Famous Pea Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, chopped, salt, pepper and sugar, 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and 1 lb. bacon, crisp cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place 1/2 head of lettuce on bottom of bowl.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
Layer eggs atop lettuce in bowl.
Add more salt.
Layer as follows
Peas, remaining lettuce, bacon and Swiss cheese.
Spread mayonnaise over top, sealing to edge of bowl.
Cover and chill 24 hours.
Toss before serving.
