Coon Dogs (Appetizers) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot or mild sausage, 1 small box bisquick, 10 oz. coon or extra sharp cheese and few drops of tabasco sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Let sausage come to room temperature.
Mix dry Bisquick and sausage with hands.
Melt cheese in double boiler; add Tabasco sauce.
Add cheese to sausage mixture; mix well.
Shape into teaspoon-sized balls.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 15 minutes. (May be made ahead of time and frozen, then baked without thawing.)
Serve hot.
