Cool Rise Bread
Cool Rise Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 3/4 c. warm milk, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dissolve water.
Milk, sugar, salt and margarine. Stir in 2 cups of flour and beat until smooth with mixer.
One cup of flour and beat with wooden spoon until smooth (about 150 strokes).
Gradually enough flour (2 1/2 to 3 cups) to make dough.
On floured board until elastic; covered with
20 minutes. Divide in two loaves.
In plastic wrap.
Will rise in refrigerator in 2 hours.
Leave out uncovered for 10 minutes before baking at 400Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
