Cookie Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 4 tbsp. cocoa, 1 stick butter and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift together flour and sugar.
Boil together cocoa, butter, water and Crisco oil.
Pour over sugar and flour.
Stir well and add buttermilk, eggs (slightly beaten), salt, soda and cinnamon. Mix well. Pour in greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Start making icing 5 minutes before cake is done.
