Continental Frosting
Continental Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. milk, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook milk and flour until thick; take off heat (cool).
Cream sugar and butter with mixer until fluffy, 4 to 5 minutes.
Add flour and milk mixture.
Beat another 4 to 5 minutes.
Add vanilla. Keep cake cool after frosting (refrigerate).
Add crushed pieces of pineapple and flavoring if you want it (just a little).
Very good over chiffon cake, angel cake or any other kind of cake.
