Connies Pineapple Cream Salad
Connies Pineapple Cream Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. strawberry jello, 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. celery, chopped and 1 to 2 c. pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Bring pineapple and sugar to boil.
Let cool.
In a glass bowl, dissolve jello enough to make wet.
Let cool.
Add pineapple and sugar to jello.
Mix in all dry ingredients to jello mixture except cheese.
Beat whipping cream and fold into mixture a little at a time (or use LaCreme or Cool Whip).
Add cheese and mix thoroughly.
Cover and place in refrigerator until firm (usually overnight).
