Connie's Italian Marinara Sauce
Connie'S Italian Marinara Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. olive oil, 3 tbsp. instant minced onions, 1 tbsp. powdered garlic, 3 tbsp. dried chopped parsley and 30 oz. tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oil in a heavy sauce pot.
Add onions, garlic, and parsley and saute several minutes, stirring a few times until garlic is medium to deep brown.
Quickly add cans of sauce and purée and stir, then add sugar, salt and pepper, and basil. Simmer, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes total. ENJOY!!!
