Congo Bars
Congo Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box brown sugar (light, 1 lb.), 1 1/2 sticks margarine, 3 eggs, 2 2/3 c. flour (all-purpose) and 1 tbsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt sugar and margarine together.
Add 3 beaten eggs.
Stir. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Add nuts and chips. Stir.
Batter will be thick.
Spread in a greased and floured 11 x 15-inch pan.
Bake 30 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Remove promptly and cool 2 hours before cutting in bars.
