Congealed Waldorf Salad
Congealed Waldorf Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. delicious apples, peeled and diced, 1 1/2 c. hearts of celery, diced, 1/3 c. chopped pecans, 1 envelope knox gelatin and 1 3/4 c. sweetened apple juice*, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup apple juice.
Heat 3/4 cup apple juice, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and pinch of salt.
Add to gelatin mixture.
Chill in refrigerator until consistency of egg white. Add apples, celery and pecans; chill until firm.
