Congealed Cherry Salad
Congealed Cherry Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with (16 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries, undrained, (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, undrained, (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained, (6 oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin and c. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain all fruit together.
Save 1 1/2 cups juice and set aside.
Bring the juice to boil and dissolve gelatin in it.
Add cold water and chill.
Fold in fruit and pecans.
Pour into 6-cup mold or 11 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Serves 10 to 12.
