Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Mix with mixer; beat in egg.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed.
Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoon.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 to 9 minutes.
