Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.
Add dry ingredients alternately with can milk.
Mix well and add flavoring.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Place in COLD oven and turn oven to 325Β°. Bake 1 hour 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Do not open oven door while baking.
Remove from pan immediately.
