Cold Oven Pound Cake
Cold Oven Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks miracle whip margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, pinch of salt (1/2 tsp.) and 3 c. flour (plain), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until creamy, then add flour and milk (alternate) together.
Add flavoring.
Last, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Put in greased and floured tube cake pan.
Put in cold oven.
I bake mine at 300° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
It depends on your oven.
All ovens are a little different; try it at 325° and if too hot, try 300° and then try 350°.
