Cold Oven Pound Cake
Cold Oven Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour (plain), 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, 1 c. milk and 1 tbsp. lemon flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine with eggs until smooth.
Add salt to flour along with baking soda.
Mix alternately with flour mix until all used.
Beat until smooth, adding the flavorings. Grease and flour a tube pan.
Pour batter in pan; place in cold oven.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out on cake plate.
