Coconutty Macaroons
Coconutty Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. duncan hines golden sugar cookie mix, 1 egg white, 1 tsp. coconut extract, 1/2 c. flaked coconut and 1 egg white, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Empty both mix pouches into bowl.
Add egg white, coconut extract and 1/2 cup coconut.
Mix thoroughly. Form dough into 1-inch balls.
Dip into egg white. Roll in coconut.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press candied cherry half into center of each macaroon.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes until coconut browns a little. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing with spatula.
Makes 30 cookies.
