Coconut Surprise Sheet Cake
Coconut Surprise Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yellow cake mix, 1 c. flaked coconut, 1 tsp. coconut flavoring, 2/3 c. canned milk and 1/2 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix yellow cake mix as directed on package.
Add coconut and coconut flavoring (this makes the cake light).
Bake at 350Β° for about 35 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix the canned milk, powdered sugar, vanilla and coconut flavoring while the cake is baking.
Use a 2-cup measure and add enough water at the end to make a total of 1 3/4 cups liquid.
As soon as cake is removed, punch holes all over the top with a fork.
Pour the liquid over the warm cake.
Use all the liquid.
When the cake is cool, top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with coconut.
Refrigerate.
If desired, when serving, top each piece with a cherry.
