Coconut Pound Cake
Coconut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. shortening, 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs and 3 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream together butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Sift flour with baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, extract and coconut. Turn into greased 10-inch tube pan.
Place in cold oven; set temperature at 300Β°.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Can be iced with any white icing and coconut added.
