Before starting cake, have eggs and oleo at room temperature. Preheat oven to 300Β°.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour, salt, soda, sour cream and vanilla.
Beat well.
Stir in coconut.
Bake approximately 1 1/2 hours.
