Coconut Mist Cake
Coconut Mist Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted cake flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. butter and 1 lb. box powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Sift flour once; measure and add baking powder and salt.
Sift together 3 times.
Cream butter thoroughly.
Add sugar gradually and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Add flour alternately with milk, a small amount at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla and coconut.
Fold in egg whites frequently and thoroughly.
Bake in 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and frost.
