Coconut Cream Pie
Coconut Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. cornstarch, 1/8 tsp. salt, 3 c. milk and 3 egg yolks, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Combine milk and egg yolks.
Gradually stir into sugar mixture.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1/2 cup coconut, butter and vanilla.
Immediately pour filling into baked pastry shell.
Cover filling with waxed paper.
