Coconut Bar Cookies
Coconut Bar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine, softened, 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil.
Lightly grease. Combine butter, sugar and egg in food processor.
Whirl until creamy.
Add flour and 1 cup of walnuts.
Pulse just until combined and still in clumps.
Press in even layer with floured fingers into pan.
Bake in 375° oven for 15 minutes, or until edges are golden. Cool in pan on rack.
Sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut and remaining walnuts on top.
Pour on milk.
Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or until golden brown; cool in pan.
