Classic Baked Pasta Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) pkg. mostaccioli, ziti or rotini, uncooked, 1 lb. italian sausage or lean ground beef, cooked and drained, 1 (48 oz.) jar prego mushroom and green pepper extra chunky spaghetti sauce, 4 c (1 lb.) shredded sargento mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350`.
Prepare pasta as package directs.
In a large bowl, combine pasta, ground beef, spaghetti sauce and 2 cups cheese.
Mix well.
Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish; cover.
Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Uncover; top with remaining 2 cups cheese and parsley.
Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
Refrigerate leftovers.
