Clam Chowder
Clam Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 cans minced clams with juice, 4 to 6 onions, finely chopped, 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces, 2 c. water and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Saute onions in butter or margarine.
Cook potatoes in water until tender with seasoning.
Combine onions with potatoes in their water and clams, heating to boiling point.
Add thyme and half and half.
Stir until blended and hot enough to serve.
