Clam Chowder
Clam Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. finely chopped onions, 1/3 c. butter, 3 c. chopped potatoes, 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Saute onions in butter until golden brown; add potatoes and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Cook until tender.
Set aside to cool.
Add butter to flour.
Stir in half and half, spices, clams, cooked potato mixture and evaporated milk.
Simmer 30 to 45 minutes and add a pat of butter to each steaming mug of chowder.
