Clam Chowder

Clam Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, cut up, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 c. cubed potatoes, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup and 3 cans minced/chopped clams and juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Fry bacon until crisp in 3-quart pan.

Add onion; saute 2 or 3 minutes.

Pour off fat.

Add potatoes and clam juice; bring to a boil.

Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Stir in soup and sour cream.

Gradually add milk.

Add clams, salt, pepper and parsley.

Stir until clams are hot.

DO NOT BOIL!!

Add dash of garlic salt and dash of Worcestershire sauce.

Serves 5.
