Cinnamon Coffee Bars
Cinnamon Coffee Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. soft shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 c. hot coffee and 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream together thoroughly the shortening, brown sugar and egg. Stir in the hot coffee.
Sift together all the remaining dry ingredients.
Blend in nuts.
Spread in a greased 13 x 9-inch oblong pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cut into bars.
Frost while still warm with a thin coating of Quick Coffee Cream Icing.
Makes 2 dozen.
