Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. (2 c.) milk, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. lard (margarine), 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. water and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Scald first 3 ingredients together and let cool.
Mix all ingredients, should be a little sticky.
Let rise (I mix at night and let rise in cold oven overnight).
Divide dough in thirds. Roll out dough in rectangle.
Spread with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins.
Roll jelly roll fashion. Cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Place in loaf pans that have melted butter, brown sugar, raisins and nuts on bottom.
Let rise again until double.
Bake at 350Β° until light brown.
Remove from pans immediately.
