Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding

In medium bowl blend eggs, sugar, milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of butter and vanilla.
Add bread; mix well. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Dip apple slices in remaining 1 tablespoon butter and arrange slices on top. Set casserole in a larger dish and place in a preheated 350Β° oven.
Pour enough hot water in pan to come up 3/4 inch.
Bake, uncovered, about 1 hour.
Serve warm with Orange Sauce.
