Chunky Cider Applesauce

Combine apples, cider and lemon juice in 3-quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat and simmer until apples are tender, about 20 minutes.
Add sugar, salt and nutmeg; cook 1 minute longer.
Up apples into chunks.
Cool and refrigerate until serving time.
Makes about 1 quart.
