Chuck Wagon Beans
Chuck Wagon Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon slices, 3 lb. ground beef, 3 c. finely chopped onion (about), 1 c. finely chopped celery and 2 beef bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven oven or large roasting pan, fry bacon until crisp; set aside.
Drain fat from pan. In same pan, cook and stir ground beef, onion and celery until meat is brown and onion is tender. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
Bouillon and remaining ingredients into meat mixture.
Bake for
1 hour and 15 minutes or until hot bubbly.
Crumble bacon. Sprinkle over beans. Makes 12 (1 cup) servings.
