Christmas Chowder

Made with c. shredded carrots, c. chopped celery, (13 oz.) can chicken broth, c. chopped onion and c. chopped green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine carrots and celery in broth; cover and simmer until tender.
Cook onion, green pepper and butter until tender.
Blend in flour; add milk to this.
Cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil and is thick.
Cook 2 minutes; add to broth mixture.
Reduce heat and stir in cheese.
Season to taste. Makes 6 small bowls.
