Chow Mein Casserole
Chow Mein Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 3 stalks diced celery, 2 c. cooked rice and 2 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Slightly brown the ground beef with the onion.
Add celery which has been partially cooked in very little water and drained. (May want to save some celery water if mixture looks too dry.) Add cooked rice, soy sauce, soups, salt and almonds (optional). Mix well.
Bake 30 minutes in a 350Β° oven in slightly greased baking dish.
The last 15 minutes, sprinkle with chow mein noodles.
Brown as desired.
