Chow Mein
Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. veal, 1 lb. pork or 1 chicken, 1 c. onions, 1 c. celery and 1 can bean sprouts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook veal and pork in water until done.
(Cook chicken until done, if used.)
Cook chopped onions and celery until done, then add next 4 ingredients and cook altogether about 20 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch or flour.
Add soy sauce to taste.
Serve over cooked rice.
Makes a lovely meal.
