Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an impressive dinner. Made with 12 green sweet peppers, 12 red sweet peppers, 12 medium size onions, 4 qt. cabbage, chopped and 1/2 c. coarse salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Chop peppers, onions, tomatoes and cabbage as fine as you like it.
Mix in salt and let stand overnight.
Drain.
Mix vinegar, spices (tie pickling spice in cloth), and sugar and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Add the chopped mixture and continue to simmer for another 25 minutes.
Place mixture in hot jars and seal.
