Chocolate Topping is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. baking cocoa, 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. evaporated milk, 1/4 c. butter or margarine and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine cocoa and sugar in saucepan; blend in evaporated milk. Add butter or margarine and salt.
Cook and stir constantly until mixture just begins to boil.
Remove from heat; add vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream or other desserts.
Makes about 2 cups sauce.
Refrigerate leftovers for another day.
