Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies
Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter, softened, 2/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 egg, separated, 1/4 c. milk and 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream 1/2 cup butter, 2/3 cup sugar, egg yolk, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla in bowl until light and fluffy.
Add mixture of flour, cocoa and salt; blend well.
Chill for 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls.
Dip into beaten egg white.
Coat with mixture of chopped nuts and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Make indentation in center of each.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes, or until set.
