Chocolate Sweet Cake
Chocolate Sweet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 4 tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened), 1 c. water and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix in saucepan and bring to a boil the margarine, Crisco, cocoa, water and vanilla.
Mix in another bowl the sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Remove mixture from stove and pour over dry ingredients.
Mix well and add eggs and buttermilk. Pour into a greased and floured pan.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
