Chocolate Surprise Cake
Chocolate Surprise Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. cream cheese, softened, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Butter and flour 12-cup Bundt pan.
In small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add egg and vanilla.
Beat until blended; set aside.
Prepare cake mix according to label.
Fold in chocolate morsels.
Pour chocolate batter into prepared pan.
Evenly cover with cream cheese mix. Bake until wooden pick comes out clean (45 to 55 minutes).
Cool in pan on rack 25 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool completely. Dust with confectioners sugar.
Serve with whipped cream and raspberries, if desired.
