Chocolate Sundae Cookies
Chocolate Sundae Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. each: soda and salt, 2/3 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening and 1 unbeaten egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift together first 3 ingredients; set aside.
Add brown sugar to shortening.
Blend in egg.
Stir in half the dry ingredients. Add cherry juice and 2 tablespoons milk; stir in remaining dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Blend in chocolate, walnuts and cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cut marshmallows in half and place on hot cookies.
