Chocolate Star Peanut Butter Cookies
Chocolate Star Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening (margarine is best) and 1/2 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift first 3 ingredients.
Beat well the next 2 ingredients and add sugars, vanilla, egg and milk.
Then add sifted dry ingredients.
Shape into balls (walnut-size) and roll in confectioners sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 minutes.
Remove and press chocolate stars or Hershey's Kisses into center of cookies.
Bake again for 2 to 5 minutes. Makes 3 to 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
