Chocolate Sheet Cake Brownies
Chocolate Sheet Cake Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 2 sticks butter, 4 heaping tbsp. cocoa and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix flour, sugar and baking soda together; set aside.
Mix together in a saucepan the butter, cocoa and water; bring to a boil.
Pour this mixture over dry ingredients; mix well.
Add buttermilk, vanilla, slightly beaten eggs, chopped walnuts and, if desired, Reese's peanut butter chips.
Mix altogether well.
Pour into greased flat 11 x 16-inch cookie sheet or 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Frost while cake is hot.
