Mix together sugar, flour and salt.
In a saucepan, combine water, shortening, margarine and cocoa.
Bring to a boil.
Pour over flour mixture.
Stir well.
Beat eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla together; add to flour mixture.
Stir well.
Bake in a greased and floured deep cookie sheet, 11 x 15-inches, at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
