Sift flour, sugar and salt together.
In a saucepan mix Nestle Quik, butter and water and bring to a boil.
Pour this into the flour and sugar mixture.
In another bowl combine eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla.
Add to mixture and mix well.
Bake in a shallow pan, greased and floured, at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
